Allison Frederick, MD is a general surgery resident and the current Pediatric Surgery Research Fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville. She recently completed her third year of residency and started 2 years of clinical research in pediatric surgery. Her research interests include pediatric trauma and critical care, ECMO and public health. Outside the hospital, she loves to travel, hike, go to the beach and spend time with her family and golden retriever.
