Marion Henry is a Pediatric Surgeon at Comer Children’s Hospital and Advocate Children’s Hospital and Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago. A former Navy pediatric surgeon, she has been very involved through her career in medical education at the medical student, resident and faculty level. She has been involved in faculty development at the local and national level. She has really enjoyed being the Program Chair for APSA and planning the APSA Annual Meeting for the last two years. She is a mentor and coach through the Association of Women Surgeons, the American Pediatric Surgical Association and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Henry is also a national leader in Pediatric Surgery advocacy through the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Pediatric Trauma Society and the Surgical Section of the AAP.
