Shannon Castle, MD, FACS, FAAP serves the children of the Central Valley of California as a pediatric surgeon and as the medical director for trauma at Valley Children's Hospital. She trained in general surgery at the University of California, San Diego, and in pediatric surgery and critical care at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Shannon's primary research interests lie in improvement of pediatric trauma and critical care. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys cycling, running and rock climbing.
