Nicole Chicoine, D.O. is a Pediatric Surgery Research Fellow based out of Seattle Children’s Hospital where her investigatative work has been focused primarily on health equity and disparate outcomes in pediatric pediatric surgical care. Nicole earned her medical degree in Indiana and completed three years of general surgery residency at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis before transitioning to her research time. Beyond her research, Nicole is also completing a Master’s in Public Health at U.W. to strengthen her ability to implement changes in the healthcare system to promote more equitable healthcare for the patients she cares for.
