Born and raised in Singapore, moved to San Jose, CA at age 7. Undergraduate at UCLA in Neuroscience, medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Internship at University of Washington in Seattle, currently finishing residency in Chicago. Will continue training in Surgical Critical Care at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before applying to Pediatric Surgery fellowship. Interested in improving surgical education and developing better objective metrics for residency and fellowship match process. Hobbies include long walks in Costco, staying active (going to the gym, swimming, etc.), and challenging myself to make the best homemade soup/stock.
