Jeannette M. Joly, MD is a general surgery resident at Inova Fairfax Medical Center and is currently completing a two-year clinical research fellowship in pediatric surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is dedicated to a career in academic pediatric surgery and plans to incorporate quality improvement and outcomes research into practice, with the hope of optimizing patient care and improving perioperative patient experiences. In the field of pediatric surgery, she enjoys exploring particular interests in thoracic, congenital, and fetal pathology, and outside of the hospital, she continues to be a loyal supporter of her hometown DC sports teams.
