Mary Brindle MD MPH is a Professor of Surgery at Alberta Children’s hospital, the University of Calgary. She is also the Director of the Safe Surgery and Safe Systems team at Ariadne Labs, Harvard School of Public Health and the Secretary General of the International ERAS Society. Dr. Brindle’s work focuses on surgical team performance and perioperative safety. She has funding from NIH, AHRQ and CIHR and has published her work in a wide range of journals including NEJM Evidence, JAMA Surgery, and the Harvard Business Review.
