As a dedicated Research Associate and accomplished Laboratory Manager at UConn Health, I bring to the table a rich tapestry of over 12 years' of experience in orchestrating and overseeing groundbreaking pediatric research initiatives, often in conjunction with CT Children's Medical Center. My academic journey includes a Master of Science degree in Molecular Cell Biology from Quinnipiac University, a testament to my robust foundation in research protocols, principles, and procedures, complemented by a comprehensive grasp of pertinent scientific methodologies.

My current research trajectory is firmly anchored in the realm of esophageal regeneration, navigating the cutting edge of innovation through the utilization of tissue-engineered scaffolds. In this dynamic field, I work under the astute guidance of Dr. Christine Finck in the Pediatrics Department. Our collaborative efforts are concentrated on unraveling the intricate mechanisms and pathways of esophageal tissue regeneration while pioneering inventive solutions for children grappling with esophageal defects and diseases. My skill set encompasses proficiency in molecular and cellular biology, adeptness in cell culture, mastery of PCR techniques, and finesse for data analysis. What truly fuels my professional enthusiasm is the seamless exchange of ideas and collaborative problem-solving with my esteemed colleagues and research partners.

My overarching aspiration is to make a profound contribution to the sphere of children's health and well-being by pushing the boundaries of research and ushering in transformative innovations.
