Dr. Erika Adams Newman is the chief of the Section of Pediatric Surgery, a tenured associate professor of surgery, and the Michael Mulholland Distinguished Collegiate Professor at C.S Mott Children’s Hospital, the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her clinical expertise and research interests include neuroblastoma and pediatric solid tumors.

“My purpose is to serve and advance teams that innovate compassionate health care and to foster a creative learning environment in which all are valued and excel,” said Dr. Newman. “The privilege to lead knowledge acceleration, skill acquisition, and ensure professional success of early learners, trainees, and surgeons is the cornerstone of my passion.”
