Mehul V. Raval, MD, MS is a Professor with Tenure in the Division of Pediatric Surgery with joint appointment in the Departments of Surgery and Pediatrics at Northwestern University and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He serves as the Orvar Swenson Founders' Board Chair and Division Head of Pediatric Surgery for the Lurie Children’s Hospital Department of Surgery. He also serves as a Principal Investigator in the Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research and Northwestern Institute for Public Health and Medicine where he manages a research portfolio that includes extramural funding from the NIH and AHRQ. Dr. Raval has over 250 peer-reviewed publications, 20 chapters and invited reviews, and over 300 regional, national, and international presentations.
