Elizabeth J. Hughes, MD is a General Surgery resident at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, and her passion for Pediatric Surgery has led to her current position as a Pediatric Surgery Research Fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Christine M. Finck at UConn Health/ Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT. She received her BS in Biochemistry with a minor in Oboe Performance at Azusa Pacific University, and her MD from Loma Linda University. Her interests include esophageal atresia and global pediatric surgery.
