Dr. Alexa Turpin is in her first year of her research fellowship in the Department of Surgery at Nemours Children's Health-Delaware Valley. Alexa got her Bachelor of Science at Cornell University and attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She has completed three years of clinical residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. At Nemours Children's, she works in the Nemours Surgical Outcomes Center (NSOC), where she focuses on outcomes research and quality and safety initiatives.
