I studied International Health at Georgetown University and worked in West Africa for several years before attending medical school at Michigan State University. I then completed General Surgery Residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and was a Jean-Martin Laberge Global Pediatric Surgery Research Fellow at Montreal Children's Hospital/McGill Unverisity. I continued training in Abdominal Multi-Organ Transplant and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery at MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute and will start Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at Children's National Hosptial this year.
