Dr Siddiqui completed her undergraduate studies at George Washington University in Washington, DC graduating Magna cum Laude. She continued to University of Tennessee for her medical degree and general surgery residency. Dr Siddiqui completed a Fellowship in Medical Innovation, Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Surgery in the Department of Surgery at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Dr Siddiqui joined the faculty in the newly minted Alice Walton School of Medicine in Northwest Arkansas - yes, she likes to tell folks she is a Professor of AWSOM.
Dr Siddiqui has been elected and appointed to various committees. These inter/national committees include Global Initiative for Children’s Surgery (GICS) and the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA).
Dr Siddiqui research interests include surgical technology and innovation, hepatobiliary diseases and complex foregut physiology and laparoscopic versus open techniques. She also is involved with Global Healthcare and continues to travel internationally as a physician volunteer and educator.
